| ![]() | Customer Reviews:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Not bad! (18 November 2008)Reasonable summary of this vintage 6-nations season for Wales but the ending suffers the usual Welsh over-sentimentality and melodrama. The rugby itself is great to watch though! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Stuttering mislabellity (24 October 2008)The disks for Wales v. Ireland and Wales v. Italy are cross-labelled. There are 5 or 6 frame stutters in all the matches but at least it got rid of the frustrations of the earlier 3 disk job that gave me highlights but no real feel for the pressure and hywl. Seeing the whole game makes you realise these matche were closer than you might have thought. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Alright I suppose (14 October 2008)Other reviews on this page bemoan a lack of finesse on the production and I have to admit it's not great. However, personally I just want to see highlights of the games, and am not really fussed about interviews with the team etc. In this respect this DVD delivers. However, how the production company could possibly have missed the misspelling of 'RBS' on the back cover is beyond me. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() DO NOT BUY THIS DVD (08 July 2008)The content of this dvd is absolutely fine. The problem is that the second disc, the one where we actually won the slam, can't get past the menu. And that's on three separate dvd players. And after ordering a replacement disc from Amazon. Hopeless. I'm off to get a refund. Avoid! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Could have been good - but wasn't (19 May 2008)As a Wales fan living in India I had all the games recorded live onto DVD and sent - thanks Mum! - but wanted to get this so that I could worship without juggling the disks... but it came and I found that the play back on both disks was jerky - every other second or so and so impossible to watch (regardless of which machine I played it on) - and the menu options on disk 2 did not work fully - so I sent the disks back. Sad - great potential content, rushed out, and not quality checked. I am sure that there is a metaphor for playing Henson at fly half there somewhere, but I can't spot it |
