Excellent price for Bluray combi (27 August 2010)
Great animation, very very impressive. I was very impressed with the movement of everything, the characters, the balloons etc. The story is moving, especially at the start when you go over the story of the old man's history and, although I didn't find the movie hilariously funny (I guess it isn't supposed to be, it's much more sentimental and moving) there are funny moments, especially the dogs. Very good film, very well produced and a delight to watch.

Essential viewing (25 August 2010)
This is equally appropriate for children and grown up children! As one reviewer said the first ten minutes are life enhancing. The story is witty and clever with wonderful, detailed animation. All human life is represented here. My (grownup) brother and I were alternately tickled and moved throughout. We were bereft when it came to an end.

Up the DvD (24 August 2010)
I thought this Was an excellent movie, funny,good story and visually stunning. I ordered it From Amazon which is from what I found the cheapest, It arrived on time and in perfect condition so overall i was very happy with it.

There's not much left to say about this superbly realised Pixar effort. At its worst (and there's very little of it) it can be slightly mushy and mawkish, Hollywood-style.

At its best (most of it, especially the first twenty minutes) it is marvellous and moving.

Throughout, it manages to balance most people's real life experiences- ie down as well as up.

It works on so many layers that, for once, it really can be enjoyed by anyone from five to ninety five.

As I'm nearer the latter, I particularly enjoyed the concept of an old boy hero....

The DVD of UP is fantastic for both children and adults ... I loved it so much I purchased two copies to give one to a friend...

Get it you won't be dissappointed.
