The Ultimate DVD Karaoke Party 2008 - 60 Songs - From Zoom Karaoke

New for Christmas 2008 is the updated version of this product: The Ultimate Karaoke Party 2008. It contains many of the same legendary karaoke tracks, but some of the pop tracks have been replaced to include newer hits.

The 2008 version does not have any issues with song selection - you can use the skip forward >>| and skip back |<< buttons as well as the numerical buttons to select songs. The 2008 version contains 60 songs, but these are on two DVDs, rather than one. All the girls song are on Disc 1 and the boys songs on Disc 2, so two people can use the same product at once!

Picking tracks is still a problem (04 August 2008)
I saw comments from early 2008 regarding the slowness in getting to the tracks but was comforted by a comment left which said it would all be fixed when the DVD was remastered and that tracks would be selectable via numbers.

Guess what: ordered the DVD this week and it is still the previous version - I'll have to write down the start times of each track so I can skip forward to the right point.

DVD Karaoke party 2007 (24 November 2007)
Good selection of songs and the words are highlighted as you need to sing them. Only downside is that there is no menu so you cannot forward to the song you want. You have to keep pressing skip to get the song you want and it takes ages!
