| ![]() | Customer Reviews:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 'Clone wars a cartoon was it?' (28 June 2010)I was a little concern that it was a cartoon but as soon as it started I forgot it was a cartoon and fully enjoyed it. It makes a great addition to to my Star Wars collection of films. If you are two minds to get it just get it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() worth every penny (08 June 2010)Have to say i was a bit sceptical at first, after all this is starwars in cartoon. But i was pleasantly surprised within moments of watching. The story is easy to follow and i soon forgot i was watching animation ,well worth a watch and great value for money. A must have for any starwars fan. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fantastic (06 June 2010)Clone Wars. Initially I was disappointed with the angular computer graphics. But I quickly forgot because the mood is quite the same as in the real Star Wars movies. It's great with more Star Wars adventures. I have both the Clone Wars movie and TV series because the stories are different. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Excruciatingly dull and awful looking (04 May 2010)So disappointed. I bought this for my son. Actually wish I could get a refund. The visual style appears as if it's meant to fit in with some game concept. Absolutely stiff, wooden and so badly animated it beggars belief. Pixar were doing better character animation than this in 1988. The story is utterly uninteresting; the characters are as expressive as Gerry Anderson's Thunderbirds puppets; the script is infantile and overdone - they speak when it's unnecessary (Blam) "That got him!"; and the voices - my God - the voices! - Annakin has that awful Masters of the Universe, Filmation 'Saturday morning animation' sort of voice. My son aged 4, who even loves Phantom Menace lost interest in this and started drawing instead for about 30 minutes. He just told me "I did like it - I love all Star Wars films" but it certainly didn't seem to hold his attention much. Did George Lucas ever even see this? And what's the story with the awful music over the end credits? I've been told that the series is good. Does it look as wooden and stiff as this? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Good fun (30 April 2010)Its a good bit of fun this film but not brilliant. Don't judge the TV series too much from this but watch it first as the series will then make more sense. The TV series is excellent with good graphics, humor, characters and humoour!!!!! |
