Rob Brydon, Genius of Comedy. (16 June 2010)
Rob Brydon is an impressively funny and quick comedian. The audience interaction on this show is brilliant!! He brings the audience together in a comical and brilliantly fast thinking section of the show. Even more impressive is the song at the end that is completely written around the lives of the audience he has spoken to that night (Rob Brydon does not have an interval, so he must think this song through on the spot) yet it works Amazingly well and provides an entertaining end to the evening.

If you want a funny Stand Up show, which avoids the modern tendency to use foul language throughout, the this is a 5Star Buy. You wont regret it!!

  Ok!!!!!! (17 February 2010)
I realy like Rob Brydon and for anyone that has liked what he has had to say in such things as would i lie to you or the big fat quiz of the year it is worth getting.

However he does use some of the same material that he uses in the most recent Live at the Apollo. Which can either be good or bad; because as well as it being a bit repetitive it also serves as permanent copy of some funny gags plus original stuff.

Since it is Rob Brydon expect the usual great impressions which will never get old in my mind. And if you haven't seen small man in a box by now then this item should already be in the basket.

In comparison to other stand up DVD's i would suggest that Russell Howard's DVD was more enjoyable but i would suggest getting both anyway.

Magnificent and unique show from a comic genius (11 February 2010)
I am probably biased in my review as I adore Rob Brydon. Every time I see a new piece of his work I am always in awe of man who so far seems to have written and acted to a standard of perfection. I have yet to see him produce a dud. Seeing Brydon finally step out from behind his comedy personas is an exciting experience and well worth seeing. This show is unlike a lot of stand up comedy in that it does not involve Brydon reeling off a routine full of jokes and observations. It is a glorious mix of storys, anecdotes, impressions, chatting to the audience and music. Brydon gives a wonderfully relaxed and natural performance, it is impossible to know how much is scripted and what was delivered spontaniously, but he gives the impression of a man who is riffing off the top of his head. Overall this is a brilliant dvd I have watched a number of times, but do not go in expecting a Michael McIntyre-style polished routine. This is intelligent, sophisticated and natural comedy which is enormously engaging and very funny.

  Rob Brydon Live DVD - :-)! (19 January 2010)
Not too long, not too short, just right for cheering you up! A great laugh, funny guy!

Not that funny! (15 January 2010)
I was really looking forward to watching this DVD, however it was a complete disappointment.

It was so boring, and I felt a poor reflection of the Rob Brydon humour I had seen previously.

Save your money, I wish I had.
