Dire (27 July 2008)
How can anyone compare this with 9 Songs?It is boring,badly acted with no atmosphere from beginning to end,at least 9 Songs kept you interested.This is one to buy if you have trouble sleeping at night.

A waste of money (27 March 2008)
This film is just awful. I switched it off after 1 hour because I was bored. The narration is annoying and the dialogue is weak. Seriously, don't bother watching this.

Uninspiring (11 March 2008)
Strange, hairless creatures have sex in a variety of positions, then mutter dull platitudes about the meaning of life. Goes for existential but ends up as ennui.

Refreshing (22 January 2008)
Both other reviews have a point, although I felt the higher review to be fairer. Whatever the movie's failings, it is very powerful and sensual. It was very refreshing to see the sex treated in such a forthright and enjoyable way, and to finally see a film in which the body is a natural and intrinsic part of life, not something to be hidden away or be coy about. All the characters were natural and uninhibited, and the scenes were beautifully shot.

A truly erotic movie because its neither a saddo male fantasy nor 'guardian' intellectual pretension .Instead a truthful take on young lust, longing and love and the angst , joy & hurt that comes with those things . Beautiful male and female leads , authentic backdrops of summer in a city and a sense of hope too.
