Customer Reviews:

  Quite forgettable. (05 January 2009)
As another reviewer has said, this is a welcome addition to the world of film as a male feel-good film, although as a female, I quite liked it too.

I found the storyline rather generic, boring and predictable and it was rather easy to lose focus/let my attention wander elsewhere.

I was quite impressed and amused by Russell Brand's cameo, which I think was probably the highlight of the film; I think his acting was the best, followed by Seth Rogan. Other than Russell Brand, I don't feel anyone's preformance really shone.

This is a good film to see...ONCE, but I don't think I'll watch it more than that.

Good but not brilliant (30 December 2008)
Yes, definitely worth watching and Brand is better than you would think - no actor though as he basically plays himself. I enjoyed the film.

I suppose it just entertainment (30 December 2008)
The movie is really just entertainment to have a good laugh at. Forgetting Sarah Marshall contents are silly and offensive at times. Well what it about. It is about twenty-somethings romance. The main characters include musician Joe and actress Sarah Marshall who have been in a 5 year relationship, but one day Sarah announces she wants to end the relationship. Joe is devasted by the news and it takes time for the news to sink. How does he cope with this? He ends up in Hawalli meeting the new flame played by the Russell Brand. How does he react to this? Without giving spoilers, you watch the funny side of how Joe deals with the problem.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is categorised as a feel good movie, which is really to have a good laugh at, even though it is pointless and absurd at times.

Forgetting sarah marshall (24 December 2008)
Very good film. funny throughout and brand acts well. its not a classic but well worth a watch. segal is the best and despite the pointless nudity on his part is interesting to watch. better than superbad and other comedies of that genre as there is no cringiness in it

Boring and for a comedy not that funny! (26 November 2008)
I bought this DVD because I was a fan of the lead actor in a sitcom and thought it would be fun.

The story line was pretty weak and didn't build. It was very long and at numerous points i nearly gave up watching it.

I didn't find the film that funny and although i don't like Russel Brand he was actually the best thing in the movie.

The lead actor was quite irritating and for no reason ended up naked a lot of the time!

In my opinion this is a poor film with no story and poor attempts at humour. This film belongs in the bargain bucket!
