(05 January 2009)I purchased this after looking on wikipedia for Family guy Season 7,and after looking at the list of episodes i thought,wow,new episodes which i havnt seen! As i must have seen every epdisode which has been shown in the UK i bought it. But to my horror, i have seen all the episodes on BBC 3 or FX. Bit off a rip off if you ask me! how can it be sold as season 7, when its actually bits of season 5 and 6? No new shows at all on this box set! so if you have digital telly and have BBC3 and FX, save money and dont. Suppose ill have to wait untill UK boxset season 9 comes out to actually see new shows! Actually, FX are advertsing new season,so look out for that! family guy at its best (29 December 2008)wow! Family guy has gone crazy! Talk about stewie killing lois. The idiot! P&P (15 December 2008)I ordered this last week for a christmas present and paid the extra money to have it delivered in 2-3 working days and it still hasn't arrived. I've had better service when I didn't pay. Family gut rocks (11 December 2008)I bought this for my husband last week and I love it. I hated Family Guy when we first met but after a few watches of the goings on of the Griffin clan I was hooked. This series isnt as funny as the last few and some of the gags are overdone and we have seen them before but it will always be classic comedy at it's best. I know we are behind and mixed up with the American side of it and all the extra's and stuff were a bit of a let down but I always enjoy the programme and I agree with the people who say that the true comedy lies with Brian and Stewie (who I believe is getting more gay as the show goes on). I will sya one last thing if you love Family Guy you will adore American Dad which is by the same people who created Family Guy. Funny (04 December 2008)After watching this a few times i realised that most of the episodes are very good and in all this season is an improvement on season 6 in it's consistency and almost as good as the first 3 seasons.I think the writers let themselves down though with the at times cruel humour aimed at cancer sufferers,the disabled and the jews.This isn't funny and i doubt Seth McFarlane would find it funny if himself or someone close to him were afflicted by cancer,etc.Family Guy spoils itself with this type of 'humour' and laughs can be found without having to resort to this type of infantile behaviour. |
