I personally don't find the presenting very irritating or have any prejudice against Scottish accents, so I happily watched it pretty much back to back and enjoyed them thoroughly. Its a great to see all of these different subject matters being covered in one documentry and how they all work together. Its also great to see visually the effects of climate change with such spectatucular filming rather than just reading the horror stories in the media and scientific community. In these testing times for our environment and survival, this is a must see. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Truly Awesome (16 November 2008)From my 7 year old boy right up to my 77 year old dad, we found this really wonderful. I didn't think we would learn so many new things that are so important to our basic understanding of our world. EVERY SCHOOL should show this dvd to the kids and more than once so that it can be fully absorbed. It is about the core of our existence! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() brilliant (02 November 2008)anyone with an interest in geology, and how our planet works should watch this series. Iain Stewart is brilliant. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Recommended (20 August 2008)Is this better than Amazing Earth? Definitely: the story narrated in a scientific supported way, better graphics, excellent images. A recommendation for anyone interested in earth,s history in spite of too much of Dr. Stewarts presence . ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing (16 May 2008)this is by far the best most interesting documentary i have ever seen and is amazing from start to finish |
