Good Film (25 August 2010)
This is a really good film and on Blu Ray just adds to the enjoyment

An absolutely gripping movie (30 July 2010)
An impulse buy while out shopping. I won't go into the plot, plenty of other posts here can fill you in. Just like to say that this is a gripping movie, and superbly written, acted and directed. If Clint can coax a performance like this out of Angelina then perhaps they should work together more often.

I had low expectations, but Changeling is superb (24 July 2010)
I have to admit that I wasn't in a hurry to watch this film as my expectations were low. I was expecting a rather dull, chick-flick, not brilliantly directed, with a possibly miscast lead. However, I am very pleased to say that I was so, so wrong. "Changeling" is actually an excellent film. Both Clint Eastwood as director, and Angelina Jolie as lead actress, both did a superb job. Forget Tomb Raider (which I have to admit to rather enjoying) - Angelina Jolie really can act, really. On top of that, the (true) story of Changeling is gripping, the supporting cast are mostly very good (I wasn't overly impressed by the main police character), the lighting and sets are spot on. Excellent.

This is one of the best films I have seen in a very long time mainly because it is a true story based in reality. It has some really scary moments and it's very difficult to predict the end. Its one of those films you want to definitely want to see more than once well produced great music.

I studied film academically so I am always critical when watching movies especially when I pay to go and watch the new releases. I did my homework before watching this one and the reviews I read intrigued me, and I must be honest, it was not enough to pay for a ticket at my local cinema complex. What a regret this turned into! In an age where 3D and animation are the major crowd pullers, this film by Clint Eastwood stands alone as the best movie of recent times. 'Changeling' is compelling, rivetting, harrowing, shocking all of which are compounded by the fact it is largely true and Eastwood's narrative never gets dull even though it runs for well over two hours. Films with such screen time often have lulls but Clint's "best ever" does not suffer the same fate. I digress, but I hope my words convince you to purchase this absoloute gem and give the film the credit it deserves to anchor proud amongst a cinema age where elaborate visual effects are the primary agenda for the film maker- well done Clint.
