Take me to Camp Rock! (30 March 2010)
Camp Rock is another unique and ingenious film from Disney. If you liked High School Musical then you are sure to like this one. If not you will still like it!

It is a simple storyline but appeals to many age groups with its idea of falling in love with an older boy. The songs are so catchy and the talented Demi Lovato shows what she is made of with her songs. Her voice is amazing and her character Michie is central to the story. The story is simple yet effective as many of the Disney films are.

With help from the rocky Jonas Brothers and with Joe Jonas cast as Demi Lovatos love interest at Camp Rock, it sets out to showcase the talent of Disney and gives girls and boys hope that talent gets you that far.

Over all, the film is an enchanting laugh out loud film with catchy dance numbers, sing alongs and a love which defies the odds. Girls and boys will like this as my little cousin who is a boy loves it too just as much as my sister!

Personally I wish there was a real Camp Rock when I was younger!!! I also think they are planning a sequel which should be good and hopefully it will compare to how great this on was!

I LOVED THIS FILM, I BOUGHT IT FOR MY DAUGHTER AND WE WATCHED IT TOGETHER, THERE IS SOME VERY GOOD MUSIC ESPECIALLY THE LAST SONG (LUCY FROM XFACTOR SUNG IT ON THE SHOW) .. ALL ROUND GOOD FILM

I have two girls aged 9 and 13 and they adore this film! They enjoyed it everybit as much as High school musical. like High school musical it has been in and out of our Dvd too often and they now know every line said and every word to every song! This is light hearted, very American a bit cheesy in places but overall good clean entertainment. The girls now love the Jonas brother thats the only down side! :)

Camp Rock Rocks! (25 September 2009)
Camp Rock is just the kind of thing to expect from Disney - singing and dancing. If Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers were not in this movie, it would be just like High School Musical, and I wouldn't have liked it. But because Demi is such a good actress and singer, she shined as Mitchie Torres. I like some of the Jonas Brothers songs, and they can sing, and they wern't that bad at acting, but if Demi hadn't starred alongside them, the movie would just be another dull Disney kids piece of cheese. By the way, I'm not just saying that because Demi is one of my role models, it's what I thought before I considered her a role model.
Out of ten, I would give Camp Rock 9 and a half/ 10.

This was bought for my 8 yr old daughter. She loves it. Typical film inthe High School musical genre. The usual singing and dancing with the girl meets boy storyline. Storyline very predictable buts jogs along nicely. Most preteens will like it
