Good - and that is a critisism (07 January 2009)
As many others have said, this show is good, but it is not great which is a serious problem. Part Troll was brilliant, but this show goes over too much old ground.

There is really little fresh and genuinly involving material to enjoy untill about the middle of the second half. Fr that reason, and the fact that even this is better than watching some of the tosh out there.

Hopefully Bill will be back on form next time.

  Hello Wembley! (05 January 2009)
Well, to start off with this is a testiment to Bill's 22 year career in stand up. He has progressed, I feel, in quality and fluidity in each of his previous releases with Part Troll forever being his opus. Personally this DVD doesn't do him the credit he deserves, it lacks the atmosphere and sensation of being at a live show. Despite Bill's sparodic genius, it would seem that this venue is too large and does not create the intimacy or excitement that makes a great Bill Bailey show. Though these flaws; the show is still laugh out loud hilarious and well worth the purchase.

  So so (04 January 2009)
Again with everyone else on this one... I love bill but this didn't really cut it, not much jokes and gags... too much relying on the technology... was a good try tho, and a coming at the stand up from a different directing... still like seeing the different way he presented the stand up but just hope he can get a better balance between his comedy and technology next time.

  Oh, Bill... (03 January 2009)
Erm... didn't enjoy this. Too political. All very well, but people go to see comedy because they've been painted into a corner by everyday life and they need to laugh. To get George Bush rammed down your throat from the off as well is tantamount to professional suicide IMHO. I love Bill Bailey, but this was pretty poor. Bill, if you want to do politics, then do it on your own time.

  A musical comedy (02 January 2009)
I have watched a few of Bill Bailey's DVd and this is perhaps the less funny off them ,however it will still make you laugh.

The whole show is worth watching just because of the cover of "Creep" from radiohead towards the end of the show.

I recommend watching the extended version which has more funny bits in it.
