The best (of the composers range) (28 November 2007)
Baby Beethoven takes the original concept devloped in Baby Mozart to a new high. OK, one might argue that the concept involves marketing of different brands and types of toys, but that should not detract from the concept that young ones tend to love these DVDs.

The "subtitles" indicating the different symphonies are very helpful, with the dog/duck chase in the Eroica Symphony particularly appealing to our young son. There is perhaps nothing to beat "Wellington's Victory" with the puppetry being excellent.

What a great finale with the 9th, and the young children "playing at" playing their respective toy instruments.

As is usual with Baby Einstein DVDs, one sometimes thinks that perhaps they are overpriced for the 25 minutes of "main feature" given. However, perhaps it is quality, and not quantity that matters.

  Don't miss out (03 February 2006)
My child loves it! Calming music and images. He turns his head to watch it whenever he hears the music start. He remains transfixed throughout and I can get on with the housework! Great for stimulating babies.

  brilliant! (15 February 2005)
This DVD is brilliant!

the never ending changing of toys, characters, children, babies, lights on the screen keep my 10 month old son mesmorised! He loves dogs and squeels himself silly when he sees the dog puppet on the screen!

great for bunging on the TV when you want an extra 20 mins in bed, and is hopefully doing his brain a bit more good than the songs on the tweenies!

Worth a look for tiny babies! (10 January 2005)
My little baby boy loved the bright images in this from a very young age (about 4 weeks old). I wouldn't think it is for the older baby though, he likes it as background sound now (14 months) as he is used to the tunes and even says ba ba ba ba when one of Beethoven's symphonies begins but he doesn't pay much attention to the images any more. He used to watch it all the way through, laying on the bed each morning. It gave me the chance to get a wash and do my hair!

another big disappointment (17 December 2004)
well in this case I feel ripped off! this Dvd is just terrible, it's just a collection of toys in movement, how clever eh! what a great free publicity for the displayed toys! My 15 mo daughter is not interested in this stuff at all! She loves The Beatles 'Yellow Submarine', or 'Wallace and Gromit' or even the Teletubbies. Maybe she is too bright or maybe she is getting lots of attention and interaction so that she is not so impressed by a stupid DVD. I just feel sorry that I bought it following the reviewers advice.
